Primary Function:
This role is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of business projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational requirements. The PMO Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project milestones, mitigates risks, and ensures project documentation and communication are delivered efficiently. This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and supporting global PMO processes and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Develop detailed project plans, resource schedules, and milestones to ensure timely execution.
Track project progress, proactively identify risks or delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams including engineering, manufacturing, finance, and logistics.
Host regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding updates, progress, and decisions.
Document project status, scope changes, issues, and lessons learned in alignment with global PMO templates.
Assist with standardizing PMO tools, templates, and methodologies to support global business operations.
Generate and present performance reports, including delivery metrics, risk indicators, and stakeholder feedback.
Support resource planning, workload balancing, and stakeholder alignment to ensure smooth project operations.
Manage interactions with external partners and suppliers when project execution involves outsourced components.
Support global PMO initiatives, such as process optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
PMP certification is .
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional business or technical projects.
