Information Technology (IT) Assistant Program

Requirements:
- 7 year minimum managing IT Operations within a DoD environment.
- Written and verbal communication skill, to include presentation development to senior ranking government officials.
- B.S or B.A Degree in an Information Technology Field
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) equivalent or higher
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Support to the Program Manager Assist the Program Manager in daily oversight of contract performance across all task areas (e.g., cybersecurity, systems/cloud/database administration, COOP, classroom support, etc.). Act as the deputy and assume leadership responsibilities in the Program Manager's absence. Help maintain the master schedule, monitor milestones, and track deliverables. 2. Task Coordination & Execution
Coordinate and support the implementation of specific IT service areas, ensuring staff are meeting technical and performance expectations. Oversee daily workflow and resolve routine issues that arise during service delivery. Support cross-functional integration between technical teams. 3. Personnel Oversight
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and managing personnel across task areas. Ensure compliance with required certifications, security clearances, and training. Track timekeeping, performance metrics, and availability of contract personnel. 4. Quality Control & Compliance
Monitor service quality and performance standards in coordination with the Program Manager. Help ensure adherence to all applicable Army, DoD, cybersecurity, and contract-specific requirements. Participate in internal audits, documentation reviews, and compliance assessments. 5. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
Support the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Coordinate with government points of contact (POCs) and respond to task-specific requests. Attend operational briefings, status meetings, and technical reviews as needed. 6. Risk and Issue Management
Identify and escalate risks, issues, or performance concerns to the Program Manager. Assist in implementing corrective actions or contingency plans. 7. Continuity & Documentation
Maintain accurate documentation of technical procedures, staffing rosters, and communication logs. Help update Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans and ensure readiness among staff.
