Requirements:
- 12 year minimum managing IT operations for the DoD.
- Written and verbal communication skills, to include presentation development to Senior Ranking Government officials.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with management of Government contracts
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar Information Technology Field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Responsibilities:
1. Contract Execution & Oversight Ensure the successful execution of all contractual requirements in alignment with AVCOE's mission and objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact between the contracting organization and Government leadership. Maintain full situational awareness of all task areas and service lines under the contract. 2. Personnel Management
Recruit, assign, and retain fully qualified personnel across diverse IT functions, including:
Customer service Classroom support Logistics Video conferencing Cybersecurity Systems and database administration Cloud administration PowerApps development COOP planning Project management
Ensure all staff possess the required certifications, clearances, and training. 3. Service Integration & Coordination
Oversee the integration of services across multiple technical domains to ensure unified support and operational efficiency. Coordinate daily operations, troubleshoot cross-functional issues, and ensure optimal resource allocation. 4. Performance Management
Monitor performance metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), and deliverables to ensure quality and timeliness. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement continuous improvement strategies. 5. Risk & Compliance Management
Identify and mitigate operational and technical risks. Ensure compliance with Army, DoD, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards. Support all required audits, inspections, and reporting processes. 6. Stakeholder Communication
Maintain consistent, transparent communication with AVCOE leadership and other key stakeholders. Provide weekly, monthly, or ad hoc program status reports, highlighting achievements, issues, and corrective actions. 7. Project and Change Management
Lead IT-related projects, ensuring proper planning, execution, and integration with ongoing operations. Support change management initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and process improvements. 8. Continuity of Operations (COOP) Readiness
Develop, maintain, and test COOP plans in coordination with Government stakeholders to ensure mission resilience during disruptions.
