Customer Engagement (30% phone time):
Handle 20–25 daily calls to assess customer needs, answer technical questions, and guide them through our web-based quoting system. Technical Sales Support:
Leverage your mechanical engineering expertise to interpret customer data, recommend optimal solutions, and tailor proposals that address performance and cost requirements. Solution Development:
Analyze site conditions, troubleshoot application challenges, and present alternative designs to sales professionals. Proposal Management:
Use our integrated engineering software to generate accurate quotes and proposals within minutes of customer data entry. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Communicate effectively by phone, email, and virtual meetings with sales, operations, and R&D teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction. Requirements What You Bring
Educational Foundation:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME preferred). Relevant Experience:
Minimum 5 years in mechanical engineering and at least 2 years in industrial sales or applications engineering. Customer Focus:
Genuine enjoyment of telephone-based customer interactions and problem-solving. Technical Aptitude:
Strong mechanical background; experience with combustion applications is a plus. Work Ethic:
Proven track record of reliability and a solid work history in engineering or sales roles. Local Commitment:
