AI, Developer Tooling About Datacurve
At
Datacurve , we're solving one of the biggest bottlenecks in scaling autonomous software engineers: post-training data. Our gamified coding platform attracts high-performing engineers from around the globe to generate frontier-quality datasets, enabling the next generation of powerful coding LLMs. We're creating a future where LLMs can empower anyone - regardless of background - to build and engineer production-grade software. Role Overview
We're looking for a
high-agency Software Engineer
with
0-3 years of experience
who can
own projects end-to-end
and thrive in ambiguity. You will play a key role in shaping developer tools and environments that power our data production pipelines, working closely with external labs and internal stakeholders to define new data formats, ship robust tooling, and scale high-quality evaluations of LLM output. Responsibilities Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack systems (React + backend) that support developer-facing tooling. Design, implement, and evaluate frontier data formats with AI lab partners. Own the technical lifecycle from prototyping to QA, production deployment, and documentation. Create evaluation harnesses for LLM output quality and behavior. Contribute to DevEx infrastructure: Dockerized environments, CI/CD, and scalable cloud tooling. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver fast-paced experimental iterations in AI/ML workflows. Write clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Ideal Candidate Profile Seniority & Background 0-3 years of professional experience. Open to strong new grads with demonstrated real-world engineering experience (open-source, internships, fellowships). Avoids standard tech co internships in favor of more entrepreneurial, self-driven impact. Technical Skills Full-stack engineering (React + modern backend language like Python, Go, or Node.js). Built and shipped real-world software projects from scratch. Experience working with
medium to large codebases . Familiarity with
LLM evaluation
workflows and prompt engineering. Experience with
AWS ,
Docker , and
CI/CD
pipelines. Comfortable building tools used by other engineers (DevEx). Soft Skills Exceptionally strong
written communication
- can distill complex technical ideas for non-experts. Brings
structure to ambiguity
and thrives in a fast-moving environment. Strong
technical judgment
- knows when to prioritize speed vs. rigor. Curious, self-driven, and deeply
resourceful with AI tools . Pride in craftsmanship and commitment to excellence. High ownership mentality - does what needs doing, even without asking. •Bonus Signals Cansbridge Fellows, Schulich Leaders, or other prestigious innovation recognitions. Impressive personal or open-source projects. Built their own tools, games, startups, or experimental platforms. Less Aligned Backgrounds Internship-only experience at large tech companies (e.g., Google) without real-world ownership. New grads with only hackathon projects and no sustained engineering work. Logistics Work policy:
