Senior Data Center Project Manager – Atlanta, GA
We’re working with a
leading international data center developer
undergoing rapid global expansion. With operations in
45 countries
and
750+ sites , they are at the forefront of delivering mission-critical infrastructure to hyperscale and enterprise clients. Following
significant investment
and driven by AI and cloud migration, they are targeting
4x growth over the next four years .
They’re now seeking a
Senior
Data Center Project Manager
to lead the build-out of a major facility in
Atlanta, GA . This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in data center construction, MEP systems, and commissioning who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of a new data center build within an existing shell structure
Oversee vendor SOW reviews and validate infrastructure pricing
Supervise installation and commissioning of MEP systems
Troubleshoot technical issues on-site during commissioning and construction
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with operational requirements
Provide project updates to stakeholders and leadership
Be on-site in Atlanta at least 80% of the time
Requirements:
7+ years in data center project management, construction, or commissioning
Strong expertise in MEP systems and critical infrastructure
Proven experience managing vendors and reviewing scopes of work
Ability to resolve technical challenges in real time
Excellent communication, scheduling, and budgeting skills
Based in or near Atlanta with ability to be on-site regularly

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
PMP or equivalent certification
Familiarity with Uptime Institute, TIA standards
Experience working with Atlanta permitting authorities
Hands-on commissioning experience in operational data centers
