POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Provides administrative and analytical support for NOAA strategic and operational efforts, including data tracking and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years' experience supporting a project team-based environment
3+ years' experience writing, editing, and proofreading a variety of documents, contents for media such as websites, toolkits, graphics, PowerPoint Presentations, and briefing papers
Must be strong in using Microsoft products such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Publisher
Prior experience communicating verbally and written across various staffing levels to include end-users, stakeholders, management, and senior officials
Submits audit and other data call request
Must have strong and clear communication skills, orally and written
Must have excellent communication skills and should be able to close loops with all stakeholders.
Must be an expert in agile technologies, and a great team-player
Federal Government contracting experience; Prior experience supporting NOAA (desired)
Prior experience supporting Facilities, Project, or Asset Management teams (desired)
Prior Technical Writing experience (desired)
Project Management certification (desired)
Smart Sheets certification (desired)
Microsoft trainings or certifications (desired)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Draft and manage documentation, spreadsheets, and policy reviews
Develops internal organizational communication plan and an external/customer-facing communications plan that communicates the projects activities and plans
Responsible for Outreach activities across the agency internal and external stakeholders; helps to coordinate training, communication, and reporting
Works across the project teams to track, manage, and report on project activities and strategic plan initiatives
Responsible for Write and edit content for web sites, toolkits, social media, graphics, video, news articles, PowerPoint briefings, and briefing papers for special projects & briefings
Perform data analysis to support performance tracking
