Project Manager III (Facilities Specialist)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Supports planning and management of NOAA facility-related programs, including strategic initiatives and risk tracking.
REQUIREMENTS:
Federal Government contracting experience required in Project Manager role for minimum of 8 years
8+ years of experience supporting government leadership in responding to tasks, document development, spreadsheets, presentations, and other materials. Required technical inputs and writing.
Prior experience supporting facilities, asset, or a project based environment
quality, budget, risks, and schedule in a complex environment
3+ years' experience leveraging Change Management best practices to drive change and ongoing improvements into processes and tasks
Prior experience leveraging Smartsheet to monitor and control the scope
Active PMI PMP required
Must have excellent communication skills and should be able to close loops with all stakeholders.
Must be an expert in agile technologies, and a great team-player
Prior NOAA experience a plus
ITIL or Change Management certification (desired)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support multi-year strategic and operational planning
Coordinate program reviews and planning meetings
Maintain schedules, risks, and strategic roadmaps
Assist with high-level briefings and reporting
