Job Description:
As an ETL Developer, you will serve as a key member of a Scrum team responsible for building and maintaining end-to-end data flow solutions, primarily focused on investment operations, reconciliation, and reporting processes. Your expertise in ETL development, scripting, and database programming will drive the successful design, implementation, and optimization of data integration processes in a collaborative, Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop, optimize, and maintain stored procedures and queries in Microsoft SQL Server • Design and implement ETL processes using Informatica and IICS • Write scripts using Python and PowerShell to support data workflows and automation • Conduct data analysis, profiling, and mapping to ensure data quality and consistency • Support data lineage, governance, and documentation of data flow processes • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to meet sprint deliverables in an Agile Scrum environment • Work with Snowflake and Tableau to support reporting and analytics initiatives • Participate in code reviews, standups, and Agile ceremonies
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: • 3-5+ years of experience developing stored procedures and query tuning in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or newer • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development using Informatica • Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and PowerShell • Strong understanding of data analysis, profiling, mapping, and governance principles • Experience with Snowflake and Tableau for data visualization and reporting • Familiarity with IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) • Experience working in Agile Scrum teams • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Desired Complementary Skills: • Experience in the Investment Management industry • Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Confluence
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
