About the Role
Our client, a reputable contractor in the Austin area, is seeking a
Project Administrator / Coordinator
to support active construction projects. This is an on-site role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and can juggle schedules, documentation, and communication with internal teams and field crews. No degree requiredjust strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to keep things moving.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate project documents, RFIs, and submittals
Assist with schedule tracking and project updates
Support project managers with day-to-day administrative tasks
Interface with vendors, subs, and field staff to ensure timely communication
Organize files and drawings using Bluebeam and MS Office
Maintain logs, meeting minutes, and material tracking sheets
Qualifications
13 years of experience in construction project coordination or administration
Experience in electrical, mechanical, or general contracting industries
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Bluebeam
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be local to the Austin area and able to work fully onsite
