As our Tooling Engineering Manager, you will leverage your deep understanding of tooling design and expertise in simulation software (like DEFORM) to lead a high-performing engineering department. You'll be instrumental in developing cutting-edge tooling designs, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Strategic Leadership:
Provide visionary leadership to the forging engineering department, setting clear objectives and driving strategic initiatives. Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Process Optimization & Innovation:
Analyze production activities, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Tooling Design & Simulation Excellence:
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced forging and support tooling, leveraging DEFORM and other simulation tools to optimize performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate seamlessly with production, quality, purchasing, and sales teams to achieve shared goals and drive continuous improvement. Vendor Management:
Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment, and maintain service contracts. Technical Reporting & Communication:
Prepare and present comprehensive technical reports and presentations to communicate project updates, analysis findings, and improvement recommendations. Requirements
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Experience:
7+ years of progressive experience in engineering management. Metalforming experience is required. Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of impression die hot forging processes, materials, and tooling. Proven proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and DEFORM simulation software. Lean Manufacturing:
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing engineering teams. Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong collaborative spirit. Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Desired Attributes:

Compensation & Benefits:
