As a Float Medical Scribe, you will play an essential role in supporting our primary care providers by assisting with clinical documentation, allowing them to prioritize exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with providers in daily huddles to plan patient visits.
Observing and documenting patient encounters in real-time during exams.
Following up post-visit to assist with next steps in patient care.
In addition to traditional scribing duties, you will be recognized as a Clinic Informatics Specialist (CIS), emphasizing the critical nature of accurate and timely clinical documentation. You'll gain in-depth knowledge of our value-based care model, including:
Chronic condition management and related ICD-10 and CPT coding.
Identifying and addressing care gaps for improved patient outcomes.
Comprehensive training in clinical workflows and preventative care for chronic conditions.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for pre-med individuals seeking practical experience before entering MD/DO/PA/NP programs, or for those interested in health informatics, public health, healthcare administration, medical coding, and related fields. We appreciate long-term commitment with expectations of a minimum of 1-2 years in this position.
We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $25.65 per hour based on various factors including experience and education. In addition to your base pay, you may qualify for bonuses, commissions, or other short-term incentives.
