Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a
Senior Embedded Engineer
in Houston, Texas!
Full Compensation Package Available to include: Competitive Salary:
$120,000 - $160,000 annually Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA Term Life, AD&D, STD, LTD, 401K, Scholarships and educational reimbursement PTO and paid holidays (overtime compensated with extra time off) Career advancement opportunities Family-friendly environment with average employee tenure above five years All travel expenses covered
(flights, car rental, food) for required travel to the Cedar Park, TX office Responsibilities:
Lead electrical engineering from concept to commercialization , including
PCB design
and
embedded firmware (C++) . Develop robust
industrial embedded systems , managing communication protocols and data architecture. Apply
analog/digital circuit design , utilizing debugging tools in a
shop environment . Ensure
ATEX/IECEx regulatory compliance
for all designs. Actively participate in
knowledge transfer
from a retiring expert. Lead engineering projects
and maintain
client relations. Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline required. Practical Experience
10-15 years
in Electrical Engineering, specializing in
embedded hardware systems, control design, and full product lifecycle management (concept to commercialization). Proven expertise in PCB design and embedded C++ software , including hardware interfaces, analog/digital circuits, debugging, and wireless technologies. Strong knowledge of
ATEX/IECEx regulatory standards , ideally from
Oil & Gas or demanding industrial environments. Exceptional
analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills , with a
growth mindset
and ability to work autonomously through a complex, long-term onboarding.
