About the Role:
The License & Tag Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that all vehicle licensing and registration processes are handled accurately and efficiently within the Cullman Shop. This position is responsible for managing the documentation and compliance requirements related to vehicle tags and licenses, supporting both internal teams and external regulatory agencies. The specialist will serve as a key point of contact for resolving licensing issues, maintaining up-to-date records, and facilitating timely renewals to avoid operational disruptions. By maintaining thorough knowledge of state and local regulations, the role ensures that all vehicles are compliant with legal standards, thereby minimizing risk for the organization. Ultimately, this position supports the smooth operation of fleet management and contributes to overall organizational compliance and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with vehicle registration and licensing processes or related administrative support. Proficiency in using computer systems and databases for record-keeping. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in business administration, logistics, or a related field. Previous experience working in fleet management or transportation compliance. Familiarity with state-specific vehicle registration laws and regulations. Experience with specialized licensing software or government portals. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Responsibilities:
Process and manage vehicle license and tag applications, renewals, and cancellations in accordance with state and local regulations. Maintain accurate and organized records of all licensing and registration documents for the fleet. Serve as a liaison between the company, regulatory agencies, and internal departments to resolve any licensing or registration issues. Monitor expiration dates and proactively coordinate renewals to ensure continuous compliance. Provide support and guidance to team members regarding licensing policies and procedures.
