Position Summary
The Public Health Practice Coordinator will be a member of the LSU Health Sciences Center, New Orleans School of Public Health's (SPH) Public Health Practice and Community Engagement Office. The incumbent in this position will work collaboratively with practice faculty in community outreach and engagement activities for the School of Public Health. The incumbent will be responsible for public -facing community outreach efforts such as identifying partners and needs, assembling volunteers, planning events, assembling a Community Health Advisory Board, and facilitating meetings. The Practice Coordinator will also support SPH accreditation efforts with preparation of materials, reports, tracking data and dissemination of accreditation progress to faculty and staff via a monthly newsletter. The incumbent will support the practice office with management of student success by tracking various student data, performance metrics, awards, and events.
