Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Media Specialist playsan important role in developing and enhancing the online media presence of ourbusiness units. This role is responsible for strategy, execution, and daily managementof our portfolio of social platforms and other networks. This includes engagingand growing our followers, influencers, customers, and media to continuebuilding our brand presence.

This individual continuously tests new ideas through the development andpromotion of interactive and engaging content; developing content, copy andstrategy is essential for this role. Additionally, the Digital Media Specialistserves as a brand ambassador for the internal organization by interacting withand forming relationships with our customers and partners in regard to our internal channels, industry-focused groups, and forums.

As a member of the Marketing Communications Team, this role works closely withthe VP of Communication and collaborates withthe entire Marketing team. This role is essential in ensuring alignment withbrand messaging, service strategies, audience interests, and platform-specific bestpractices to maximize awareness, engagement, andreach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media Content & Paid Ad Development, Scheduling & Promotion(35%) • Collaborates with Manager of Marketing on thecreation of social media content calendar (organic and paid marketingcampaigns) for: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok. • Responsible for the social media marketing content calendar. Schedules andmanages social media content utilizing scheduling and planning tool(s). • Develops content and creates clear calls-to-action that facilitatesengagements for both organic and paid campaigns across all product linesegments. • Crafts compelling post and ad copy that aligns with the company's marketing campaigns, voice, objectives, and targetaudiences. Collaborate and coordinate with theMarketing Manager to leverage/align marketing campaign messaging, initiatives,and content. • Research social media trends and analyze metrics to optimize the social mediapost creation process. Assists with creation, selection and assembly of imagesand graphics for social media posts. Coordinates with the Manager of CreativeServices & Graphic Design to ensure content is consistent with BrandIdentity guidelines. • Produces compelling social media video content by repurposing existingfootage. • Coordinates and collaborates with GraphicDesigners/Videographers for the development of social media-specific assets asneeded. • Develops, implements, and manages paid social media campaigns across Facebook,Instagram, and LinkedIn using Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Coordinatesthe company's Google Business Profiles. Responsibilitiesinclude setting campaign priorities, geofencing parameters, SMS, determining and managing budgets,conducting A/B testing, researching new target audiences, and tracking andreporting on key performance indicators (KPIs)/metrics. • Uploads and assists in optimizing YouTube video content. • Search Engine Optimization: coordination of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO bestpractices, (strong emphasis on local SEO for multi-locations). • Proficiency in keyword research andcontent optimization with a focus on high-intent, service-based searches. • Use geo-targeted content strategies to build a backlinkstrategy for industry-specific directories and publications.

Social Customer Service & Community & Reputation Management (25%) • Oversees social customer service for brand pages, and company-owned Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn pages in collaboration withthe Marketing Team. Define and create a reputation management campaign for the large markets within PEI • Admin of Facebook group and other groups as assigned. Responsibilities include: social customer service, content sharing, contest development/execution, and additional group management duties.

Analytics & Reporting (20%) • Utilize platforms and social channels to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and competitive intel. • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports around competitive intel, organic and paid ad KPIs, key campaigns, customer service, and other relevant analytics, and effectively communicate insights and findings to relevant internal teams. • Leverage SEO tools like Google Search Console,Google Analytics, Google Algorithm Updates, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz to createreports that track/measure digital marketing campaigns, analyze data andgenerate actionable insights.

Strategy Development (20%) • Support the development of strategies to grow social media channels,followers, and engagement, and execute these growth initiatives effectively. • Responsible for developing and executing effective social media campaigns todrive awareness, engagement, and manage the brand reputation. • Works closely with internal teams to develop and execute a social mediacomponent for strategic company campaigns, ensuring alignment with overallcampaign goals. ID pool of potential contentcontributors within the company in collaboration with VP of Communications. • Research and review new trends, ideate new campaigns, and look for newopportunities. Includes providing strategic recommendations to enhance thebrand's social media presence and effectiveness. • Conduct competitor analysis and brand studies in order to identify growthopportunities in the space, creating competitive reviews and situationalanalyses. Review and benchmark key competitors as well as parallel industryreferences. • Researchinternal display panel options and planning content strategy.

Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in the Marketing, Communications, Digital/SocialMedia, or applicable field is required.

Specialized Skills and Experience: • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, particularly in developing andexecuting social media strategies, growth development, community management andsocial customer service. Required channels/programs: Facebook, Instagram,LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Squarespace. • Experience or knowledge of design, architecture, engineering,construction, or other related professional services industryis a plus. • Minimum of 5 years of experience using Meta Ads Manager. • Provenability to work collaboratively as a team and independently to accomplishtasks. • Organizational skills are a mustas well as the ability to multi-task to complete tasks within tight timeframes. • Proven track record in social community management and customer service. • Strong writing, editing, and analytical skills; attention to detail is amust. • Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in adeadline driven environment with the ability to pivot and adapt as needed. • Experience with social media monitoring and scheduling tools. • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of working withdiverse teams and functions; ability to handle projects involving across-functional team. • Required Computer Skills: thorough knowledge of GoogleAnalytics, Google Business/Sites, social scheduling/monitoring tools, MicrosoftOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), • Preferred Computer Skills: Monday.com or Equivalent project management software, AI tools like OpusClip and ChatGTP, Microsoft Co-pilot, Perplexity, or Beautiful AI, Salesforce, Deltek or other CRM, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva.Special consideration will be given to those with video editing experience. • Fluency in English required
