Data Analyst/Product Owner

Key Responsibilities: • Data Product Ownership • Define and prioritize data product features and enhancements based on stakeholder needs and business goals. • Act as the bridge between business users, data engineers, and developers to ensure alignment on data product vision and delivery. • Own the roadmap for data assets and analytics capabilities related to blockchain and streaming data sources. • Data Analysis & Insights • Analyze large-scale datasets from blockchain networks and streaming platforms to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. • Develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making across compliance, operations, and product teams. • Translate complex data into clear narratives and visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Data Integration & Quality • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate data ingestion pipelines for real-time and batch processing. • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across blockchain transactions and streaming feeds. • Define and monitor data quality metrics and lead resolution of data issues. • Data Modeling & Documentation • Contribute to the design of data models that support blockchain event structures and high-velocity streaming data. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data definitions, lineage, and usage guidelines. • Support metadata management and ensure datasets are discoverable and well-described in the data catalog. • Governance & Compliance • Ensure data handling practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies. • Collaborate with data stewards to maintain data classifications and access controls, especially for sensitive blockchain data. Technical Skills • Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets. • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). • Experience working with streaming data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Streaming). • Understanding of blockchain data structures, smart contracts, and transaction flows. • Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data catalog tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Microsoft Purview). • Data Stewardship & Governance • Experience managing business glossaries, metadata, and data lineage. • Understanding of data quality frameworks and issue resolution processes. • Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). • Product & Communication Skills
