About the Role
The
Systems Analyst, EDI
will support our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes. You will be responsible for providing support, troubleshooting, and assisting in the development of EDI transactions and workflows. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in EDI and healthcare data systems while working closely with more senior team members and other technical resources. This position will be located at our offices in San Diego, California.
How you will make an impact:
In this role, you'll: Assist with the development and support of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, focusing on testing, implementing, and maintaining EDI transactions. Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to EDI processes, working with senior team members and business resources when necessary. Support daily monitoring of EDI transactions and batch processes to ensure smooth operations. Document and maintain basic EDI procedures and processes. Assist with lifecycle reconciliation of EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. Help identify and report on trends or recurring issues within the EDI process to assist with process improvements What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred, but not required). Prior experience in healthcare IT, EDI, or related systems is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with X12 transactions (e.g., 999, 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277) and/or HL7 standards is desirable but not mandatory. Basic understanding of SQL and ability to work with database queries. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and handling sensitive data (PHI) is a bonus Why XiFin?

Pay Transparency
At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected annual salary range for this role is
$68,640 to $87,500
based on your experience, skills, and geographic location.
Depending on your qualifications, you may be considered for either an
Analyst
or
Senior Analyst
title. Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary accordingly.
