Job Description
This position is responsible for safeguarding the organization's or a senior living community's information systems and data from cyber threats. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing security measures to protect sensitive information, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and responding to security incidents. Incumbents must be proactive problem solvers with expertise in threat detection, risk mitigation, and security technologies.

The Role: Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant, analyze and configure complex security systems and controls to align with business security requirements and risk management objectives. Collaborate with system users to gather and analyze security requirements, assess feasibility and impact of security enhancements, and recommend solutions to enhance security functionality and efficiency. Provide technical expertise and support for security systems, including troubleshooting vulnerabilities, overseeing patch management, and security monitoring Develop and maintain security documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and user guides, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on security processes. Lead and organize security testing activities, including creating test plans, executing test cases, and overseeing user acceptance testing, to ensure system security and reliability of changes. Conduct end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support and guidance to promote security awareness and proficiency in security practices. Lead security and/or technical initiatives. Stay informed about security trends, best practices, and system updates to recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives for security posture. Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot or monitor security issues, ensuring vendor adherence to service level agreements. Serve as a mentor for less experienced teammates, providing training and coaching on security best practices. May assist with day-to-day work direction. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience required. 4-6 years of related experience required, with direct business systems experience preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and understand technical documents is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results. Business specific programming language preferred.
