The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization adheres to international, federal, and local regulations, industry standards, and internal policies, particularly in the areas of satellite operations, export control, and data security. This strategic leadership role involves the development and oversight of compliance programs, policies, and procedures, as well as the implementation of monitoring systems to detect and prevent violations. The VP will also be tasked with promoting a culture of ethics and compliance, leading investigations into breaches, and recommending corrective actions. Collaboration with executive leadership, legal teams, and operational units is essential to maintain a robust compliance framework. Applicants for the Vice President of Corporate Compliance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, engineering, or a related field, with a Master's or JD preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles, particularly in the satellite, aerospace, or telecommunications industries, is required. The role demands a candidate with a strong knowledge of industry regulations, including FCC, ITU, ITAR, EAR, and cybersecurity laws, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to achieve compliance objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, results-driven, and highly ethical, with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in a global company with a significant revenue base and a proven track record in managing compliance programs and risk mitigation strategies is also essential.
