The IT Systems Support Technician provides first-line technical assistance for internal users, deploys and maintains end-user hardware and software, and helps ensure reliable, secure operation of company workstations, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with user training and hardware lifecycle management to keep our team productive and our infrastructure current.

Key Responsibilities:

User Support & Training

Serve as primary Tier-1/Tier-2 contact through the ticketing system, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Onboard new employees-build and image workstations, provision accounts, and deliver systems orientation. Workstation & Peripheral Management

Configure, deploy, and patch Windows desktops/laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals. Recommend and implement hardware and software upgrades that improve performance or security. Maintain accurate asset inventory; procure replacement equipment in line with lifecycle standards. Network & Mobile Services

Install and terminate network cabling; complete small wiring projects, occasionally using a scissor lift. Set up, configure, and troubleshoot corporate mobile devices and service plans. Operational Excellence

Diagnose root causes, document solutions, and share knowledge with peers to drive continuous improvement. Provide after-hours support on a rotating basis to minimize downtime. Qualifications:

Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline-or equivalent experience. 2-4 years hands-on experience supporting Windows workstations, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic TCP/IP networking. Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Capacity to juggle multiple priorities, work independently, and learn emerging technologies.
