Part-Time DevOps Engineer
to support ongoing IT operations and project work for a growing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for flexible, meaningful work contributing to cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and operational improvements. Key Responsibilities: Support general IT operations, including infrastructure improvements related to Wi-Fi, networking, and system optimization. Develop and maintain DevOps tooling and pipelines, primarily in
AWS
(Compute, S3, file transfer, networking). Assist in
JIRA
project architecture and ongoing workflow enhancements. Contribute to current in-progress initiatives, including:
Datadog
implementation for observability AI DevOps automation
using Bitbucket Pipelines FLOW AWS pipeline rebuild
for PHP8 compatibility
Provide visibility and progress reporting using project tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of high-priority projects. Potential Future Projects: While not immediately in scope, the following projects are on the horizon and may require involvement later in the engagement:
FLOW
- NetSuite API integration Billing system refactoring
across PP, Doculand, and Flow Metadata architecture updates
for PP Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in DevOps or IT infrastructure roles Proficiency with
AWS , particularly Compute, S3, file transfer, and networking Experience with
Bitbucket Pipelines
or similar CI/CD tools Familiarity with
Datadog , or similar observability platforms Strong working knowledge of
JIRA , including project setup and rearchitecture Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate proactively Nice to Have: Background in PHP-based environments Experience supporting SaaS platforms or product-led environments Familiarity with NetSuite or API integrations Why Join?
