We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Human Resource Assistant
to join our team. This non-exempt role supports HR operations, including recruiting, timekeeping, employee relations, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for fostering a supportive workplace culture are essential for success in this role.
Office Hours:
First Shift: Typically Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 5:00
Pay:
Hourly - Based on Experience
Duties: Recruitment and On-Boarding: Assist with screening candidates, scheduling interviews, preparing new hire documents, and coordinating orientation. Prepare and process employee paperwork Manage employee attendance program Employee records management: Maintain accurate and confidential electronic and physical files HRIS reporting - Paylocity Support employee inquires and policy interpretation. Assist in employee engagement activities and recognition programs. Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives and other management directed work-related tasks. Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or GED required. PHR, SHRM-CP or similar HR certification is desirable. Experience:
2 years HR experience
required . Recruiting experience preferred. Experience in Manufacturing HR is a plus. Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels in the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software. Experience in Paylocity or similar HRIS system a plus. Previous recruiting experience preferred. Basic understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
