ESSENTIAL DUTIES
As a Final Assembly Team Member, you will be responsible for completing the final assembly stage of high-end cabinetry. This includes fitting cabinets with doors, drawer fronts, slides, hinges, and specialty hardware. You will install accessories such as roll-outs, wire mesh, tray dividers, mirrors, and lazy Susans, ensuring everything is installed according to specifications. You will also conduct a final quality control check before the product is cleared for delivery.
Work from shop drawings to accurately assemble custom cabinetry
Install all doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes, panels, slides, hinges, and plates
Insert and secure internal accessories and functional components into cabinets
Review the cabinet build for defects, accuracy, and completeness
Perform final quality control inspections to ensure high craftsmanship standards
Complete all assigned work on schedule and communicate any delays or issues
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly issues and maintain workflow
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Prior experience with cabinetry, millwork, or custom furniture preferred
Familiarity with carpentry hand tools and cabinet assembly equipment
Attention to detail and ability to spot imperfections or missing components
Strong understanding of cabinet construction and component fit
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Reliable, hardworking, and able to manage time effectively
