ESSENTIAL DUTIES As a Material Handler in the Finishing Department, the employee will be responsible for organizing and preparing finished parts and components for final finishing and assembly. This includes receiving materials from the Sanding Department and ensuring all necessary components (doors, trim packages, fillers, outlet covers, the trim sheets, the build folders, other materials are present and accounted for before entering the Finishing Booth. Receive and inspect all parts and accessories, including hardware and those from the Sanding department. Label and organize all incoming parts in storage system. Maintain order of all inventory. Stage components such as doors, drawer fronts, trim packages, fillers, outlet covers, and build folders for finishing Use checklists to verify all parts required for each job are present and properly labeled Ensure all components are placed in the Finishing Booth prior to the painting process Remove tape and cardboard from cabinets once dry and prepare them for final assembly Maintain clean and organized staging areas to ensure efficient workflow Communicate missing or damaged items to the appropriate team members Work in coordination with finishers and production staff to keep jobs moving on schedule
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to follow detailed checklists and work instructions Comfortable handling cabinetry parts and materials Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic Able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

High school diploma or GED Prior experience in cabinetry, manufacturing, or material handling preferred
