Social Worker (BSW/MSW)

Salary:
$51,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides comprehensive social work services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to foster patient well-being. Engages in supportive counseling and crisis intervention, as well as facilitating educational and support groups. Ensures effective discharge planning to smooth the transition for patients exiting care. Active participation in community boards/task forces as a representative of the HealthCare System to impact broader health policies and practices. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of changing laws relevant to social work practice. Upholds the ethical standards as prescribed by the State of Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board. Minimum Position Qualifications:
Current Ohio state licensure is required; BSW or MSW degree mandatory. Professional certification as LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred. Ability to work full-time day shifts with weekend rotations. Proven track record in professional social work with an emphasis on patient-centered care. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), especially EPIC. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Familiarity with the mental health resources available in the community. Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly advantageous. Skills:
Strong assessment and diagnosis skills. Competent in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines. Proficient in crisis management and intervention techniques. Ability to facilitate groups and educational programs effectively. Benefits:
