Salesforce Senior Business Analyst
Location: Decatur, GA Type: Full-time | On-site second-round interview required Weekly Schedule: 3 days onsite with 2 days remote.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and business-savvy
Salesforce Senior Business Analyst
to join our team. This role requires
direct experience working with sales teams-not just leadership or stakeholders-and hands-on involvement in Salesforce Sales Cloud implementations . The successful candidate will have strong business acumen, the ability to bridge functional needs and technical capabilities, and a proven ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
Interview Process First Round : 30-minute video interview Second Round : On-site,
technical working session
involving live Salesforce exercises (e.g., generating reports, creating dashboards, pulling account data)
Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Administration : Analyze business requirements and implement scalable Salesforce solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Direct Sales Collaboration : Work closely and regularly with frontline sales representatives-not just sales leadership-to understand workflows and pain points. Requirements Gathering : Document functional, technical, and reporting requirements using Agile methodologies. Create clear user stories and support sprint planning. System Integration : Support the integration of Salesforce with third-party platforms such as ERPs, CRMs, and marketing automation systems. Salesforce Reporting : Create reports and dashboards to support field and inside sales teams with actionable insights. Configuration & Setup : Customize Salesforce using declarative tools and support custom apps built with the LWC framework. Training & Adoption : Train users, develop support materials, and encourage adoption of new tools and features. Mockups & Prototyping : Use tools like Figma to create process visualizations and interface mockups to support stakeholder discussions and development alignment. Data Management : Maintain data integrity, support data import/export, and contribute to data quality management initiatives. Requirements & Qualifications
10+ years
of experience in business analysis and requirement gathering in Agile and Waterfall environments 8+ years
specifically working as a Salesforce Business Analyst on Salesforce Lightning Platform Proven, hands-on experience working
directly with sales reps , understanding territory models, lead-to-opportunity cycles, and account hierarchies In-depth experience with
Sales Cloud
implementations (Service Cloud, CPQ, and Experience Cloud a plus) Strong knowledge of
SOQL , Flows, data migration, and hands-on metadata configuration Working knowledge of Salesforce
APIs ,
Apex , and LWC functionality (developer-level knowledge not required, but strong technical fluency expected) Experience in
data import/export ,
Excel (including VLOOKUPs) , and Salesforce reporting Familiarity with prototyping tools like
Figma
for UI mockups and process mapping Clear communication skills with both technical teams and non-technical business users Strong understanding of
data quality practices , including deduplication, validation rules, and error handling in Salesforce experience. #INDEAST
