This role involves developing and implementing machine learning and computational tools to drive progress the orgnization. Working collaboratively with clinicians, scientists, and data experts, the Lead Data Scientist will play a crucial role in solving scientific and clinical challenges through the lens of data science. Responsibilities
Analyse genomic, proteomic, clinical, and biomarker data to support clinical development and biomarker strategies for therapies. Utilize data-driven applications to improve operational efficiencies and data integrity across clinical programs. Engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration with scientists, clinicians, and data professionals. Present findings to senior management and executive stakeholders. Essential Skills & Experience
PhD in Biostatistics, Computer Science, Neuroscience, or related field. Proficiency in Biostatistics and Machine Learning methodologies. Practical experience with statistical and machine learning tools in Python and/or R. Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities, and effective communication. Previous experience in analysing biomarker data using statistical or machine learning techniques. Familiarity with cloud-based Data Science environments, such as AWS. Expertise in analysing genomic and/or proteomic data. Desirable Skills & Experience
Knowledge of other programming languages and tools beneficial to the role.
