Information Technology Department Description The Information Technology Department is comprised of two teams - Technology Solutions and Development. These two groups build and maintain a combined set of hardware, software, networks, facilities, etc., which collectively helps to develop, test, deliver, monitor, control, and otherwise support the IT services used at PPM. The Technology Solutions Team is responsible for managing and monitoring all aspects of the end-user computing environment and technical customer support. This team works with end users to understand business processes and desired technology outcomes and serves as technical leads through the lifecycle of design, implementation and use of technology solutions. The three groups within the Technology Solutions Team - Information Security, Desktop Services, and Systems Integration - work together to ensure that PPM's technology is efficient, reliable, and secure on a day-to-day basis. The Development Team is responsible for the development and support of enterprise-grade software and data solutions for internal clients across all levels of PPM. In addition to custom software development using Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, and Office365 platforms, the Development Team also assists third-party vendor application implementations, integrations, and upgrades. In alignment with PPM's business units, the Development Team's four groups, which include Enterprise Architecture & Design, Corporate Data, Research, & Reporting, Data Solutions, and Enterprise Systems, work together to ensure that timely, complete, and accurate information flows through PPM's internally developed and vendor-provided software solutions.
Summary of Role The System Integration Specialist, as part of the Technology Solutions team, is responsible for gaining an understanding of business processes and desired outcomes from internal stakeholders, and serving as the technical lead in the evaluation, design, implementation, and support for technology offerings. Primary responsibilities include working with systems such as JIRA, , SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform to create solutions to solve for business problems. Through excellent customer service and close collaboration with business stakeholders, the System Integration Specialist researches, assesses, and provides recommendations regarding technology solutions, creates an integration plan or solution, and builds personalized applications or architecture to meet end user needs. The role combines technical competencies with an understanding of business context, as it provides technical guidance and support throughout the lifecycle of a technology solution.
Role Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and other members of the Information Technology team to understand integration requirements and develop solutions to meet end user needs. Analyze existing systems and evaluate vendor offerings to anticipate integration and technology needs. Collaborate with additional IT resources on installation and configuration of technology solutions. Provide outstanding customer support to all levels of associates. Manage projects using internal and external resources. Prepare and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles. Keep up-to-date on current technology trends and make recommendations to improve desktop operations. Provide training, mentoring, consulting, and knowledge transfer to IT staff and other stakeholders. Provide recommendations and solutions for improving business continuity. Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a technical focus. 3+ years of experience in an IT role. Experience with project management and product and software installation or development. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Excellent time and project management skills. Experience with Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, file shares, Office 365, etc. Experience with Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management and Confluence). A customer-focused and quality mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong Python, PowerShell or other scripting language knowledge to assist with automation and data transformation tasks. Desired Skills & Experience
Financial literacy in back office operations (trading data, performance, analytics) is a plus Previous desktop engineering experience is helpful. Analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and systems mindset. A basic understanding of programming languages such as C# and T-SQL Agile experience is a plus. Base Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00. The base salary for this position may vary depending on experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to the base salary, this role will be eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. This role will also be eligible for compensated personal time off and holidays, health benefits, 401(k) plan with generous matching and profit sharing contributions, and other benefit programs according to the Company's employment policies and subject to the formal terms of such plans and programs.
