Director of Surgical Services
to lead our team. This is a unique opportunity to provide exceptional care in a 5-bed unit focused on critically ill patients, where teamwork and effective communication is paramount.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who drives our department's activities and resources to meet both departmental and organizational goals. You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing plans that align with our clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards.
What You'll Do
Lead Departmental Operations:
Oversee all aspects of our surgical services, from patient care delivery to quality control and complaint management. Manage Our Team:
Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and continuing education. You'll be responsible for fostering an environment that encourages professional growth and ensures our team is supported and appreciated. Handle Financials:
Prepare and monitor departmental budgets to ensure we operate within our allocated funding, and coordinate both internal and external audits. Drive Quality and Growth:
Integrate evidence-based practices into our operations and clinical protocols. Who You Are

Requirements
Bachelor's in applicable field or experience in lieu of degree
RN licensed to work in the state of Kentucky
Progressive leadership experience of 3+ years
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
