Overview

2.1

The Florida Department of Transportation (Department), is requesting resumes and hourly rate quotes for 1 staff augmentation resources meeting the specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) listed below. The Department will select the candidate(s) that provide the best overall value to the State, based on skill set and rate.

Term

: The contract term for this Staff Augmentation position is intended to be

ASAP - 6/30/2026

, with possible renewal, based on excellence in work provided, need and budget availability.

NOTE

: "Term " does not mean the awarded contractor or resource are locked in for the full year - any contractor or resource may be terminated for cause, convenience, or funding during the contract term.

VENDOR BILL RATE

: It is the responsibility of the vendor to submit rates in accordance with the pre-established rates within the State Contract. Candidate Submission

: FDOT is accepting ONE (1) candidate submissions per vendor for this

vacant

position.

Rate Increase

: Please do not impose a rate increase for any subsequent year of the contract as part of your bid response. This is a firm fixed price and will be increased only at the discretion of the Department, based on consultant job performance and availability of funds. Imposing additional increases will automatically disqualify the candidate submission from consideration.

Quote Evaluation

: Quotes will be evaluated based on the specifications identified in the scope of services and sub sections below. The eQuote will be awarded to the Contractor who presents a Candidate who demonstrates the best value to the Department based upon the response provided. The submission of additional work samples, or in person interview(s) may be requested at the discretion of the Department.

Face to Face Interviews

: t the hiring manager's discretion, interviews may be conducted via Microsoft Teams or in person.

Telecommuting

: This job is to be performed onsite at the reporting location(s) below, Monday-Friday, during business hours. Flexibility for occasional remote work for specific reasons is at the discretion of the hiring manager.

Work Hours Flexibility to work hours between 7:00 AM & 7:00 PM and/or Saturdays, either on a rotation or as part of a regular and on-call work schedule.

Conflict of Interest Statement

: To prevent any bias, unfair competitive advantage, conflict of interest, or the appearance of impropriety, Vendor employees must not have been directly or indirectly involved in the development of the Scope of Services or related solicitation documentation for which the Vendor is preparing a bid. If the Vendor employee worked in conjunction with the Department on the development of the solicitation document, the Vendor is disqualified from submitting a bid for this solicitation. The Vendor personnel assigned to other Department projects outside this Agreement, shall hold and maintain any confidential information that could benefit the Vendor on future solicitations in strictest confidence.

4 Scope of Services

Responsible for administration and maintaining Informatica IDMC services including Administrator, Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Profiling, Application Integration, and API Center, ensuring platform stability and optimal configuration across projects. Deploy, configure, and upgrade Informatica Secure Agents on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers; implement agent failover, load balancing, and manage cipher suites and secure communications (TLS/SSL).

Establish Utilize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins) for deployment of mappings, tasks, processes, and other assets across multiple IDMC organizations. Maintains and configure platform connections, secure credentials, and secure agent parameter tuning for optimal performance and resource utilization. Manage SSO administration with SAML based user access, roles, and security policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and data governance requirements. Coordinates with infrastructure, security, and data teams to implement best practices in platform operations and administration.

Monitors environment performance, identifies issues, and works with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve failures. Maintains logs and performs root cause analysis for environment errors or performance bottlenecks. Oversees scheduling, notifications, and platform performance metrics to proactively manage SLAs. Perform ongoing Secure Agent health checks, configure log rotation, integrate with enterprise tools, and manage patching processes using CLI and shell scripting on RHEL.

Provides platform support for Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, and Cloud Data Quality services, including agent upgrades, patches, and coordination with Informatica support. Works closely with data engineering and business teams to enable seamless development and deployment of pipelines and workflows.

Stays current with Informatica Cloud platform enhancements, new features, and industry best practices to recommend improvements in performance, automation, and scalability of the data integration infrastructure.

5 Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

6 Experience

minimum of 7 years of IT work experience utilizing data management tools, business intelligence tools, and data warehousing. Extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Snowflake is preferred.

7 Primary Job Duties/ Tasks Strong Data Integration and Data Warehousing experience with Informatica IDMC tools (IDMC tools like IDMC CDI, MI, CAI, etc.,) Strong Experience with Data Integration tasks like extraction, transformation, and load (ETL or ELT) tasks Experience administering IDMC platform, Secure Agent Infrastructure and Snowflake Data Cloud platform for statewide adoption Knowledge of and skill in relational database platforms including DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake and Oracle nalyzes transactional data stores and develops data warehouse models to optimize the warehouse for reporting and analytics. Experience with Redhat Linux application administration like security patching applications, managing disk filesystems, managing wrapper and auto-startup scripts. Strong Experience with IDMC Connectors to perform Change Data Capture solutions like PowerExchange and other widely used connectors like relational, ServiceNow, etc., ssists with the development and maintenance of methods and practices documentation. Experience with IBM Mainframes COBOL, JCL, and DB2 analysis. 8 Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Experience designing data models for Business Intelligence tools like Power BI and Cognos. Experience with Informatica on-premises products like PowerCenter and Data Quality. Strong development experience with Snowflake Data Cloud Prototypes, builds and tests Power BI and Cognos reports/dashboards. Experience with IDMC Cloud Administration and Snowflake Data Cloud Administration. Ensures data warehouse metadata is collected and maintained.
