Quality Control (QC) Inspector
Location: Macungie, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
HTSS is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector for a respected electronics manufacturer in the Macungie area. This position plays a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electro-mechanical assemblies and printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
Inspect components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and tolerances. Verify dimensions using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers); perform simple measurement calculations. Conduct functional tests on final assemblies following test procedures, using hand tools and test equipment. Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance. Document inspection results, track defects, and maintain accurate quality records. Recommend corrective actions such as rework or part replacement. Collaborate with production and management teams to resolve quality issues. Assist with inventory processes and scan data into the ERP system. Participate in rework and repair of defective assemblies, including light soldering as needed. Adhere to all quality system processes and safety procedures, including use of required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, cleanroom coat).
 Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail with excellent visual acuity, including the ability to identify colors accurately. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel). Familiarity with electro-mechanical components and inspection methods. Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of measuring tools and instruments (e.g., calipers, multimeters, stereo microscopes). Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
 Requirements:
Previous experience in Quality Control or a similar inspection role is required. Prior experience in electronics manufacturing is preferred. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards is a plus. Soldering experience is a bonus. Comfortable sitting or standing throughout the shift and lifting up to 30 lbs.
