Full-time, 12 month position as per association agreement Position Goal:

To provide a safe, clean, attractive and efficient environment for students, staff, parents and visitors; accurate, efficient and timely delivery service to schools and other locations as needed

Rate of Pay/Benefits:

See attached salary schedule per the negotiated agreement. The position includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits

The District Driver/Custodian shall be responsible for the following duties and perform other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor or administration:

Superintendent/Board: Adhere to and observe all Board of Education policies andregulations and administrative rules and procedures District-wide:

Perform all custodial duties in assigned buildings/areas asdirected Provide daily scheduled deliveries of inter-office mail, lunches,monies, lunch ovens and containers etc. Deliver custodial supplies to school as needed Complete special deliveries (Board Mail) and pick-ups to variouslocations: Township Treasurer, Post Office, PAEC, RegionalOffice of Education, etc. Pick-up/deliver furniture, equipment, letters etc as designated inwork orders Maintain vehicle for safe operation by checking vehicle fluid levels and report maintenance needs to supervisor Individual:

Exhibit confidentiality in relation to students, staff and parents Work independently with self-motivation Exercise good judgment, tact and discretion Work effectively and respectively with others Follow oral and written instructions while dealing with interruptions and multiple demands, and volume of workload Continue to participate in professional development and growth opportunities relative to custodial issues Maintain Class D Driver's License Be knowledgeable of and adhere to the District Safety Plan Physical Requirements:

Ability to move furniture, desks, shelving, table, maintenance supplies, and food Pull out and put away lunch tables Frequently prolonged body movements including stooping,bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, walking, climbing, twisting, stretching and reaching Repeated body movements of pushing, pulling and lifting of 80+ pound Must be able to move and use ladders Exposure to noise and activity levels associated with school life
