This initiative is critical to the continuity of their business operations and involves replacing existing accounting and cash management systems with a new solution. For this project, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in business process analysis and systems analysis to join our client's remediation team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing and documenting the impact of new financial management solutions on critical business functions, processes, and computing assets. This role requires a professional who can work across multiple business units, coordinate with subject matter experts, and contribute to re-engineering efforts to align with standardized business process models and redeveloped interfaces.Job duties include, but are not limited to:Research and understand business processes and their inter-relationships in the department.Research and document impacts on agency business systems in relation to the implementation.Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units.Gather and document business and technical requirements.Coordinate with data migration and development teams.Create detailed use cases, business rules, and requirements.Develop Test Plans and Test Cases.Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts.Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards.Compensation and Term This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $105,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.Qualifications you need A successful Business Analyst has the following experience:Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or related field.Five (5) years of solid business/systems analysis experience and software development projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Experience working with Microsoft DevOps is highly desired.Experience with data migration.Knowledge of change and release management.Knowledge of testing and quality assurance tools and techniques.Advanced skills with Microsoft products: SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, and Project.Ability to relate to stakeholders' needs, document their requirements, and perform duties in the absence of staff.Ability to receive and give constructive criticism and maintain effective work relationships with others.Ability to adjust to changing demands in a dynamic environment with diverse work assignments.Initiative, communication, customer service, decision-making, flexibility, interpersonal skills, leadership, problem-solving, team-building, quality assurance.Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is highly desired.Working with usWorking with TECKpert means more options.
