Job Summary:
This position focuses on ensuring the efficient and reliable flow of materials and parts needed for vehicle production, from sourcing to delivery. The role involves managing supplier relationships, optimizing logistics, and maintaining inventory levels to support production requirements. The candidate will play a critical role in the Nexus program launch and supply chain deliverables, with high-level visibility and the chance for a full-time conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to achieve goals and direct the integration of technical activities. Present proposals, reports, and findings to clients. Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, overseeing staff development and maintenance. Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects. Ensure the efficient and reliable flow of materials and parts needed for vehicle production by managing supplier relationships and optimizing logistics.
Must-Have Skills:
Expertise in SAP Intermediate proficiency in Tableau and Smartsheet Advanced skills in Excel
Industry Experience:
Prior experience in the automotive industry is preferred. Experience with new product launches and supply chain management is highly desirable.
