We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated program manager who will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of our data center(s) and disaster recovery operations. This role manages complex schedules, budgets, multivendor environments, and broad interdependencies.

Responsibilities:

Managing multiple, simultaneous data center projects from inception through completion/migration Supporting renovations, relocations, and upgrades of existing facilities or collocated facilities Gathering internal and external requirements and delivering solutions that satisfy the customer's needs for both data center management and disaster recovery operations Maintaining end-to end responsibility, from construction to deployment, including testing and documentation Conducting monthly/quarterly/yearly planning and coordination exercises with KPIs and reporting to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the program, as well as compliance with our overall data center and disaster recovery programs Managing vendor relationships Ensuring compliance with any applicable local, state, or national regulations and industry best practices for data center and disaster recovery operations, such as TIA-942, Uptime Institute, and National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF) Establishing an availability capability at our privately owned or collocated facility that enables recovery of tier 1 applications in support of core business functionality Developing and maintaining an effective availability program over time, inclusive of recovery/failover plan updates, testing, scheduling, policy improvements, and expanded application requirements Evaluating, analyzing, and calculating security risks and recommending robust disaster recovery procedures Preparing a disaster recovery operational plan based on the company's business continuity plan, business impact analysis, and/or business recovery documents Working in conjunction and harmoniously with the Business Continuity team Managing the ongoing development, maintenance, and enhancement of data center/disaster recovery-related activities, which include an annual planning workshop, quarterly management briefings, weekly change management meetings, data center/disaster recovery awareness and education sessions, updating IT recovery/failover plan content, and supporting periodic tests of the availability capacity Managing, building, and maintaining our systems' monitoring and logging programs Planning, developing, and implementing an Operations Center (OC) for IT systems Managing a team of 2-4 employees Qualifications:

Able to work independently and make emergent decisions Successfully completed specialized training and delivery of disaster recovery and management Self-starter, needs minimal supervision Budget and financial experience An understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast-track design build processes and associated documents and contracts Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science or information systems, or related work experience At least 5 years of experience in computing, or related area, with a focus on technology, management, policy, and security At least 5 years of proven data center management/design/operations experience At least 5 years of disaster recovery design, planning, and executing experience Proven project management experience with projects of similar size and scope Delivery of multiple disaster recovery/data center solutions in various locations in the U.S. At least 4 years of experience managing complex, multigroup, multidisciplinary projects Experience with data center equipment/environments, including switch gears, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems, and an understanding of startup/commissioning processes preferred #LI-MM1
