Overview:

A growing professional services firm is seeking an experienced

IT Analyst

to provide sole, on-site technical support for a team of approximately 20 attorneys and staff. This role is a temporary or temp-to-hire position with the potential to convert to permanent employment. The ideal candidate will deliver responsive, user-focused support while ensuring the smooth operation of all local technology systems in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary on-site IT support contact, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and professionally.

Act as a second-level escalation point for the IT Help Desk, ensuring service-level commitments are met.

Provide deskside and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices, and related peripherals.

Image, configure, and deploy systems, install pre-approved software, and perform routine maintenance.

Collaborate with internal IT teams (Applications, Networking, Systems) and external vendors for complex troubleshooting and escalations.

Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and service requests using standard IT service management tools.

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and lifecycle management.

Ensure timely resolution and follow-up on all assigned support tickets and service requests. Requirements:

Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft MD-100/MD-101) strongly preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on desktop support experience, ideally in a professional or legal environment.

Familiarity with law firm-specific software and workflows is a plus.

Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Experience with remote support tools (e.g., BeyondTrust), ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), and endpoint management (e.g., SCCM).

Ability to support Adobe Acrobat, Nuance PDF, iManage, modern browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox), iOS/Android devices, IP phones, VPN connections, and wireless connectivity for multiple platforms.

Strong skills in troubleshooting and maintaining laptops, desktops, docking stations, and printers.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, client-focused approach to problem-solving.

Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with keen attention to detail.

Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
