We are seeking a highly skilled
Agile Coach
to join our team in a
hybrid role based in Washington, D.C.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience guiding Agile transformations in complex environments, particularly within supporting
federal government
projects. You'll be responsible for coaching teams, supporting organizational change, and embedding Agile principles across programs and leadership.
Candidates must be able to commute to Washington, DC and be either U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, or hold valid authorization to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide coaching and mentorship to Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership Facilitate Agile ceremonies and workshops, such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and PI planning Guide organizations through Agile transformations, helping shift mindsets and implement best practices Promote continuous improvement by identifying and addressing process inefficiencies Collaborate with federal stakeholders to align Agile practices with compliance and reporting requirements Support Agile adoption at both team and enterprise levels, using frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or Lean Assist with the development of Agile training content and onboarding plans for new teams Federal Experience Prior experience supporting federal government projects is required , including familiarity with federal compliance standards, documentation practices, and project delivery in government environments.
Qualifications:
Agile Certifications : Must hold at least
two
of the following: Certified Agile Coach (CAC) IC Agile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certified Agile Leadership (CAL)
Agile Experience : Minimum of
5 years of experience
working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) At least
3 years of experience
coaching Agile teams and organizations At least
3 years of experience
leading Agile transformations and facilitating Agile adoption at various levels
