Job Opportunity: Desktop Support Technician

This position offers a pathway from internship or IT degree to a lifelong career in IT support, suitable for all experience levels.
Position Details
Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule: First shift
Location: Lansing, MI (Onsite)
Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00/hr (depending on experience)
Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents on Windows and Mac systems.
Deploy and re-image Windows 10/11 machines.
Assist users with IT-related issues, providing excellent customer service.
Record and document support requests accurately.
Install, configure, and upgrade IT equipment and software.
Resolve issues with printers, copiers, and scanners.
Take ownership of problems, perform analysis, and escalate when necessary.
Qualifications
Previous Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or PC Technician experience preferred.
IT certifications such as CompTIA are desirable.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
