About this opportunity
The Business Analyst is a member of the analytics team who supports the business by managing the reporting structure, providing recommendations on the usage of data, and assisting the Systems Analysts in ensuring processes will meet business needs as well as building from their work. The Business Analyst helps define and ensure the consistency of reporting as well as key metrics. They also assist management in making data-driven business decisions.
Pay and Schedule
This position is on site Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The pay range is $55,000 to $65,000 dependent on experience.

Evaluate business goals and identify opportunities for developing reports/measures that help measure KPI's Support departments reporting needs and report structure Work alongside Systems Analyst to develop data models and measures Work alongside Systems Analyst to business needs are met on processes Define and Maintain Definitions of key metrics across the organization Lead special case research projects to support executive decision making Provide status updates and reporting while meeting project schedules, deadlines, milestones, and budget. Inform Project Manager of technical issues, project barriers, and resolutions. Facilitate open communication and fact-based decision making across departments This role also handles overflow modeling as needed to assist the systems analyst Knowledge and Skills Required
Skilled with Word, Excel, PowerPoint Working knowledge of SQL or MySQL queries (required) Familiarity with SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Applications (required) 2-3 Years of Work Experience in an IT or analytics role or relevant Undergraduate Degree Strong communication skills Power BI Proficiency (or proficiency in other business intelligence reporting platforms like Tableau or Qlik) Working knowledge Data Visualization techniques
