Enterprise Application Architect Senior
The Enterprise Application Architect Senior provides the technical vision and direction within an application domain. Duties and responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and communicating the application architecture and application-level roadmap. They design, document, develop, and govern frameworks/platforms for consumption by the larger technical delivery organization. They are accountable for the creation and evolution of the overall application architecture strategy, its alignment with the Huntington Target State Enterprise Architecture, and its usage patterns within the development community. They communicate and govern the use of architectural trends and best practices within the application domain in both their delivery organization and the Huntington Enterprise Architecture organization. They develop, maintain, and communicate standards around design leadership, documentation, and stakeholder communication in line with HNB's federated architect program. They conduct product/solution evaluations for architectural domain in both their delivery organization and the Huntington Enterprise Architecture organization. They mentor technical delivery staff and perform other duties as assigned. Basic qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 10+ years of experience in the software engineering field. Preferred qualifications include applied expertise in developing application roadmaps, application architecture including design and estimates, strong cloud and cloud-native skills, strong interest in or knowledge of marketing data assets and technology, ability to navigate integration of transactional systems with analytical systems at scale, ability to communicate detailed architecture with leadership and business stakeholders, comfortable working on details without losing sight of the vision, experience architecting software solutions with demanding requirements, understanding of data and system integration patterns and technologies, proficiency in managing large-scale efforts, understanding of Agile methodologies and how architecture integrates with Agile development teams, ability to articulate and transfer complex ideas to a wide audience through both verbal and written communication, and strong conceptual, critical thinking, technical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail. Compensation range: 93,000.00 - 189,000.00 USD annual. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
