The Staff Pad has partnered with a global leader in property technology, to hire an
IT Systems Specialist
to support their growing internal IT operations at their Houston headquarters.
This role is ideal for a mid-level IT professional with a strong technical foundation and a passion for user support. You'll handle a mix of hands-on troubleshooting, system administration, and internal project support, helping ensure a smooth, secure IT environment across multiple office locations.
*THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION* Key Responsibilities Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and VoIP systems Maintain user accounts, system access, and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365 Support internal systems including Windows Server, VMware, and basic network infrastructure Respond to service requests and document resolution steps using a ticketing system Assist with IT projects, equipment rollouts, and system upgrades Maintain hardware inventory and assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks Collaborate with vendors and escalate support issues as needed Write internal IT documentation and user guides Tech Environment Windows Server (2016+), Active Directory, Group Policy Office 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) VMware ESXi, Hyper-V Cisco/Aruba network hardware, Fortinet firewalls Windows 11, remote desktop tools, Veeam Backup Ideal Candidate 5+ years of IT support or systems experience Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic networking issues Strong communication skills with a service-first attitude Experience supporting hybrid or multi-location teams a plus Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are a bonus Benefits Competitive compensation Full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) + match) Paid time off + 9 company holidays Stocked breakroom & discounted fitness memberships
