About the job Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery Job Overview:A leading healthcare facility in Seattle, WA is seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to lead its Labor and Delivery unit. This leadership role oversees daily operations, clinical care standards, and staff development to ensure a safe, compassionate, and high-quality birthing experience for patients and families.Key Responsibilities:Manage staffing, scheduling, and supervision of the Labor & Delivery teamPromote evidence-based practices and ensure adherence to clinical and safety standardsCollaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to support exceptional patient outcomesSupport staff development through mentoring, education, and performance evaluationsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental planningRequired Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school (or ADN with commitment to earn BSN within 2 years of hire)Washington RN license upon hireBLS certification (AHA) upon hire3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experiencePreferred Qualifications:Masters Degree in Nursing or related field1 year of first-line management experience
