Responsibilities:
The IT Program Manager reports directly to the Portfolio Delivery Lead who in turn reports to the Chief Information Security Officer, VP of IT infrastructure and Operations.
The role of the Program Manager is to manage programs and finances of assigned Infrastructure / Cyber initiatives to ensure delivery to defined scope, on time, within budget and with total customer satisfaction.
This oversight includes all phases within the Solution Development Life Cycle (SDLC) namely requirements definition, planning, design, development, testing, deployment and transition to post-implementation support.
Additionally, the Program Manager will be responsible for driving agility through change in existing process and methodologies, while ensuring all finances are tracked at a Program and Operational level.
This position also serves as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders - customers, business relationship managers, architects, suppliers, operations, infrastructure teams and supplier Project Managers.
The scope of the role includes project organization, coordination of project meetings and artifact reviews, proactive identification and management of issues and risks and change management at an Enterprise level.
The Program Manager will also monitor compliance with Client application and infrastructure standards.
The program manager will consult the Infrastructure and/or IT Executive (ITE), Business Relationship Manager (BRM) and/or IT Managers for direction specific to the business circumstances associated with the project - roles that are ultimately accountable to the Division/Function for the success of a program.
Requirements:
10 years of relevant work project/program management and delivery experience in an Information Technology and/or Business solutions context High level understanding of the IT application and infrastructure context for the targeted solution and the hardware / software bill of materials required to deliver the solution 5 years of experience in managing complex and/or demanding programs Experience as an active participant of software process maturity improvement programs such as CMMI, Agile etc. PMP and/or Prince 2 certification would be highly valued Preferred Skills:

Accountable for the technology delivery of end-to-end (E2E) platform solutions including cross-vendor and systems dependencies Owner of the integrated technical delivery plan for the Program Manages vendor solution delivery and acceptance to meet Client requirements to agreed quality standards Assure the transition of solutions into operational support Clear thinker who anticipates and develops strategies for anticipated future consequences and trends Pursues everything with energy, drive, and a will to get the job done 3rd Party Management
Ensure Client tasks completed for 3rd Party vendors in accordance with project schedule and proactively resolve any slippage in plan Fully understand and rigorously manage 3rd Party risks and issues, driving successful mitigation, resolution and escalation as required. Manage Client's 3rd Party dependencies across all streams within the project, both business and hosting, and across other projects in a release, monitoring overall end state and project objectives Ensure 3rd Party costs are factored into decisions on changes being reviewed by programme Governance Support negotiation of Statement of Work (SOWs) for Client. Engage Solution Architects and other stakeholders as appropriate Manage vendor costs throughout project lifecycle, protecting the overall budget of the programme in delivery Manage the escalations between the vendor and third parties to ensure that are resolved on a timely basis Manage Supplier Project Managers and all aspects of the Program deliverables Leadership and Team Working
