Job Type Full-timeDescriptionJob DescriptionWe're seeking a team member who has a passion for building premium offshore fishing boats. This team member will grind, sand, clean or polish objects and parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing using hand and power tools. They will drill holes in molded fiberglass decks, hulls and small parts. Measure and mark decks, hulls and small parts to ensure quality standards are met. This team member will verify quality by inspecting the completed parts. This person will work with equipment, worktables, chemicals, power tools and hand tools.Cut fiberglass boats once removed from moldGrind and sand bonding surfaces to smooth cut sidesCut flanges off of parts and cut out hatchesLeveling of bulkheads RequirementsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredAbility to use power tools, hand tools and a tape measureAbility to work in a fiberglass dust environment that is fast paced and noisyWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, protective suits, dusts masks and respirators.The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
