JOB SUMMARY:

The Donor Database Specialist provides essential data management support to the fundraising team at Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. Reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy, the Donor Database Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely gift entry into Raiser's Edge, database maintenance and cleanup, and production of standard reports for the fundraising team and senior management. This position ensures the integrity and accuracy of donor data through consistent data entry practices and regular reconciliation with Finance and fundraising staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibility for gift entry

into Raiser's Edge with accurate coding of donations, pledge payments, and other contributions in a timely manner. Process gift acknowledgment letters

and manage matching gift submissions to ensure timely donor recognition. Produce standard donor reports and respond to data requests

including donor history, Board Give/Get reports, Annual Report donor listing, mailing lists for appeals, and other Raiser's Edge reports as requested. Reconcile donor data

with Finance Department through weekly deposit report reviews, monthly General Ledger reconciliations, and payment portal management to ensure accuracy between systems. Develop and document procedures

for data entry standards, gift processing workflows, and reporting protocols to establish consistency and improve data quality over time. Database cleanup activities

including duplicate record identification and resolution, address updates, deceased donor processing, and data standardization. Coordinate with IT Director

on Raiser's Edge maintenance issues and manage data synchronization between Raiser's Edge and Luminate Online platforms. Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. At least 2 years experience in donor database management or data entry role. Proficiency with Raiser's Edge or other Blackbaud products required. Positive attitude and commitment to advancing BBBS of NYC's mission. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate data entry work. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data manipulation and reporting. Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with team members. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines. Experience with data reconciliation and quality control processes preferred. COMPENSATION:

Up to 20 hours per week. $28-$32 per hour.
