We are looking for a passionate Mental Health Therapist to enhance the lives of children and families. As part of our clinician-led organization, you will contribute to changing the way mental health care is delivered. In this rewarding role, you will provide crucial clinical services within the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) in a primary care clinic, working closely with Woodhaven Pediatrics. Enjoy a structured Monday-Friday schedule without the hassle of evening, weekend, or holiday work. Key Responsibilities: Utilize both virtual and in-person methods to coordinate care with medical providers and, when necessary, other mental health specialists. Assess and screen patients for a variety of mental health and substance abuse disorders. Track treatment responses and monitor patients for clinical symptom changes and potential treatment side effects. Assist with psychotropic medication management alongside medical providers, focusing on adherence and treatment efficacy. Deliver brief, evidenced-based behavioral interventions tailored to patients’ needs. Engage in regular consultations with psychiatric consultants to inform treatment strategies for patients. Create and finalize relapse prevention plans for patients poised to discharge from the caseload. Why Choose Optum Behavioral Care? Experience providing behavioral health services to children and adolescents. Minimum of 3 years working with patients with behavioral health conditions. At least 1 year in a primary care or integrated medical setting. Proven experience with evidence-based psychosocial treatments. Eligibility to enroll as a Medicare provider. Preferred Qualifications: Experience utilizing the Collaborative Care Model. Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on detail and follow-up. Aptitude for maintaining professional relationships with patients and team members. Strong communication skills across various platforms, including in-person, telephone, and video. Pay for this role ranges from $58,800 to $105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
