Job Summary:
The Senior Product Owner is responsible for leading the development and continuous improvement of corporate systems across key business functions (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Finance). As the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will define the corporate product roadmap, prioritize backlogs, and ensure successful delivery of enhancements, integrations, and system optimizations that align with organizational goals.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Workday platform. Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements. Lead cross-functional Agile teams through the full lifecycle of product delivery. Define and communicate clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements. Drive adoption of new Workday features and modules through change management and stakeholder engagement. Serve as a Workday subject matter expert (SME) on HCM, Payroll, Finance, or other modules as applicable. Partner with Workday implementation partners and internal developers to ensure timely and quality delivery. Monitor Workday releases, identifying relevant updates and coordinating their rollout. Analyze and report on product KPIs to measure business impact and inform decisions. Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security requirements. Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or combination of education and experience. 10 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in an Agile environment. Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum principles, software development lifecycles, and product management best practices. Proven ability to manage complex products and deliver results in fast-paced environments. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps. Certification such as SAFe POPM or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) is highly preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
