This hourly position is responsible for opening and closing Adventure Park daily operations and enforcing policies and procedures. Delivers exceptional customer service through telephone and in-person interactions when assisting the guest. This position uses recreation software to make tubing reservations, sell adventure park tickets, and register guests for recreation programs. This position is required to assist with Snow Schoolers operations, group and special events, and other Adventure Park activities. The Day Lodge is a busy and high-paced establishment. Coordinates and communicates with outdoor operations staff to ensure seamless, safe and effective Adventure Park operations.

Desired start date: 11/11/2025 & estimated end-of-season date: 4/12/2026 Typical operational work week of Thursday-Monday, Holidays, weekends, evenings are required. Responsibilities

Responsible for opening procedures, closing procedures, and properly locking up Day Lodge when scheduled. Preparing and sending a daily report of operations and revenue comparisons to management when closing the office. Verifies all banks, reconciles tills and creates reports for accounting at close of each day. Also responsible for change orders and utilizing appropriate cash handling procedures to work with cash, checks and credit cards. Communicate with operations management in a timely and professional manner verbally and in writing to resolve guest issues and ensure safety. Assist manager and supervisor with training and coaching of guest service staff Assist manager and supervisor with merchandise selection, purchasing, and inventory control. Provide exceptional customer service to all Adventure Park guests by giving appropriate information, directions, and conducting all transactions with a smile, eye contact, and clear communication. Keeping effective and timely communication with Snowschoolers in regards to lessons for the upcoming day. Assists with the scheduling of required staff breaks throughout the day to ensure that all breaks are given in a timely manner. Utilize a variety of software to assist customers. Use RecTrac to make reservations and conduct various sale transactions. Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding all Adventure Park and Recreation Department programs facilities and services. Answer repetitive questions, scenarios and tasks with professionalism, politeness and courtesy both in person and on the phone. Interact with and maintain professional attitudes and relationships with guests, co-workers and management in a positive, professional manner at all times using appropriate language and conversations. Utilize sales techniques to sell retail merchandise. Inform guests of Adventure Park safety practices, operating rules and regulations and help to enforce these rules as necessary. Also responsible for making sure guests are prepared for changing weather conditions. Ensure the Day Lodge facility indoor and outdoor is clean, well-maintained; items are well stocked, displayed, and presentable to guests throughout daily operations. Enforces and maintain all Town of Frisco, Recreation Department and Frisco Adventure Park policies and procedures including but not limited to grooming standards and uniform policies. Assist with large group coordination and day-of services. Work in a team-based environment supporting the Adventure Park, Recreation Department, the Town of Frisco, and the initiatives of the Director, Managers and Supervisors. Follow all procedures in place including but not limited to safety, accounting and customer service. Assist in all other aspects of Frisco Adventure Park operations as necessary. Attends Town and departmental training and meetings as appropriate or assigned. Ability to function and make good decisions in the absence of a supervisor.
