Provide reliable technical assistance to internal and external customers. You will provide professional coverage of Technical Support Helpdesk with a specific focus on PLC-controlled machines and subsystems and control systems based on C/C++ programming languages. You will support focus on accuracy, timely feedback, and customer satisfaction. You will drive timely identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis and replication of technical issues. You will build internal relationships to expedite complicated cases. You will develop broad understanding of customer needs. You will support the knowledge-sharing mindset, methodology, and tools. You will help develop Technical Support processes. You will ensure proper documenting and recording of all activity and communication. You will address systemic coordination issues.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
Ability to code in multiple languages
Advanced level troubleshooting skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Analytical skills and software development skills
Minimum 5 years professional experience:
At least one year of experience programming PLC and/or troubleshooting PLC ladder logic
At least one year of experience programming C/C++ languages and/or troubleshooting controls systems software
At least one year of experience with SQL, creating queries, & data analysis and/or troubleshooting database issues
At least one year of experience reading, reviewing, and interpreting electrical schematics and network drawings
At least one year of customer support and/or customer facing experience
WE VALUE
Experience in the automation/material handling industry is preferred:
Troubleshooting electrical and/or network issues
Programming and/or installing Panel View (HMI)
Programming and/or installing Allen-Bradley/Siemens/Modicon/Lenze PLCs
Programming and/or installing VFDs, electric motors, and sensing devices
Installing and/or configuring industrial networks such as: Ethernet/EtherCAT/Profibus/Modbus/ControlNet/DeviceNet
Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
Understanding various software development lifecycle
Wide degree of creativity and latitude
Dexterity to evaluate, recommend, and implement technical solutions based on standard or accepted technical practices
